2023

Alexis Diaz is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Tuljapurkar Lab at Stanford University. Her goal is to study demography and the eco-evolutionary dynamics of wildlife and human populations by using structured population models. In the past, Alexis has studied the dynamics of health within social populations using a nonhuman primate system under the Quantitative Ecology Lab. Currently, she is investigating reproductive output of Antarctic Weddell seals in collaboration with Jay Rotella from the University of Montana. Alexis is a proud first-gen, Mexican-American scientist from Los Angeles, CA.
