Rishi Gurjar is an avid environmentalist and a rising senior at American High School. He founded and is the Executive Director of Beyond Terra, a nonprofit that hopes to restore and preserve biodiversity across the SF Bay Area. He is involved in efforts to bring climate literacy to students across California through work at the Sierra Club, ClimateScience, and the Fremont Unified School District Climate Literacy Network.

At Tulja's Lab, I am researching the state of fisheries in the United States and beyond — highlighting key issues that the US is facing to shift to aquaculture, and connecting its dependence on seafood imports from select countries to long-term sustainability.
