Yuan Peng

Yuan Peng, a Ph.D. candidate majoring in demography at the School of Sociology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, is excited to embark on a visiting research period from 01/2024 to 06/2025. Her research interests include human mortality, longevity, and population health. During her time at Tulja’s lab, she will focus on the field of human mortality in China, exploring sub-group inequalities by gender and region. Additionally, she will investigate county-level mortality inequalities in the United States.
